1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed in your browser by websites. They are used to keep your session open, remember your preferences, and ensure your security.
2. Cookies Used by Phoniq
For its own functionality, Phoniq uses only essential session cookies. No advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics cookies are used. We do use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against automated abuse, which sets its own cookies — see section 4.

Technical Properties
All cookies are:
- httpOnly: Not accessible via JavaScript (XSS protection)
- Secure: Transmitted over HTTPS only
- SameSite: Lax: Protection against CSRF attacks

All modern browsers allow you to manage cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data

If you disable essential cookies, sign-in and service functionality may not work correctly.
4. Third-Party Services
Google reCAPTCHA
To protect sign-in and our forms from bots and automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies and collect device and usage information, which is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy. This is a security measure — it is not used for advertising or analytics tracking.
Payment Page
The secure payment page you are redirected to for transactions is subject to its own cookie policy.
